Sanur is one of the most popular beach destinations in Bali, especially with families and others hoping to relax on its sandy beaches and enjoy its gentle surf. Years ago this area was famous for diving and surfing, the dive sites were very nice and rich in soft corals and thousands of species of fish.
However, due to beach erosion, Sanur is no longer thought of as one of the premiere scuba diving sites in Bali. Yet, despite this, Sanur is still home to the majority of dive centers and dive operators in Bali. These dive centers operate out of Sanur because it is geographically convenient for travelers from all over South Bali and because Sanur is an access point for other islands rich in dive sites like Nusa Penida and Nusa Lembongan ………………………coming soon!
